DER JOB
Seit 1991 arbeitete ich als Diplom Designerin in Projektarbeit und als Freelancerin für Ogilvy, BBDO, Rapp Collins, das Handelsblatt, Wundermann, Symantec uvm.
Seit 2001 bin ich mit eigenem Designstudio für visuelle Kommunikation in Düsseldorf tätig für Verlage, den Zeitbild Verlag, die Bundesministerien, einige mittelständische Unternehmen, Stiftungen und für Einzelkämpfer in den Feldern Corporate - und Logodesign, Editoraldesign, Webdesign.
Illustration war schon immer mein Begleiter und Studien im American Center Paris und an der UDK Berlin vermittelten mir als Studentin das Arbeiten mit Materialien - Papier - Ton - Farben - Formen - Gestaltung...
NEUER FOKUS
Im Frühjahr 2017 habe ich die Keramik aktiv für mich entdeckt - auch als wunderbaren Gegenpol zum Arbeiten in der digitalen und schnelllebigen Arbeitswelt, in der ich nach wie vor arbeite.
Nach erstem Formen an der Töpferscheibe und mit handgeformten Objekten vertiefte ich das Arbeiten mit Ton bei meiner Lehrerin Rosemarie Dohmen und durch ständiges Experimentieren im Studio.
DAS STUDIO
Heute liegt das Hauptaugenmerk der Arbeit im Keramikstudio in der Herstellung von Geschirr/Tabelware und Objekten und im Experimentieren mit Form und Glasuren.
Jedes Stück, das Sie hier sehen wurde achtsam, Schritt für Schritt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail von Hand gefertigt.

THE JOB
Since 1991 I worked as a graduate designer in project work and as a freelancer for Ogilvy, BBDO, Rapp Collins, Handelsblatt, Wundermann, Symantec and many more.
Since 2001 I work with my own design studio for visual communication in Dusseldorf for publishers, Zeitbild Verlag, the federal ministries, some medium - sized companies, foundations and for lone fighters in the fields of corporate- and logodesign, editorialdesign, webdesign.
Illustration has always been my companion and studies in the American Center Paris and at the UDK Berlin taught me as a student working with materials - paper - clay - colors - shapes - design ...
NEW FOCUS
In the spring of 2017, I actively discovered ceramics - also as a wonderful counterpoint to working in the digital and fast-paced world of work in which I still work.
After first sculpting on the potter's wheel and using hand-sculpted objects, I deepened working with clay with my teacher Rosemarie Dohmen and through constant experimentation in the studio.
THE STUDIO
Today, the main focus of the work in the ceramic studio is the production of tableware and objects and experimenting with form and glazes.
Every piece you see here has been carefully crafted by hand, step by step and with great attention to detail.
